 We go to Hot springs, Arkansas for some great Stakes action with Derby points on the line.

Oaklawn Park Race 11 {Rebel Stakes~G2~1 1/16 mile~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A full field of twelve will go to the gate in this annual race.

There is plenty of speed in this one to produce a high-octane pace. Speed numbers are very close making this one super competitive. All but one have competed over the Oaklawn track. Also, all have raced at this distance, except one. It should be a fantastic race for Derby points and a chance to draw into the gate for the "Run for the Roses". A great day of racing should unfold.

#7 Timberlake (C. Torres / B. Cox) is the deserved morning line favorite with the highest last out speed number and four power workouts. He is coming off a modest layoff. This guy had the tactical speed to stay with the pace. He will try the Oaklawn track for the first time. A son of Into Mischief, he is 60% in the money from five starts.

#11 Just Steel (R. Vazquez / Lukas) should challenge with his tactical speed. He holds the second highest last out speed number and two dutiful workouts. This lad loves the dirt, distance, and track. A son of Justify, he is 66% in the money from nine starts.

#6 Dimatic (Gaffalione / Asmussen) will be tracking the leaders with three progressively improving speed numbers. He holds the fourth highest last out speed number and two sound workouts. Another lover of the distance and track. A son of Gun Runner, he is 66% in the money from three starts.
