Some of the most successful conditioners in the country have brought their charges in for this significant race. There is plenty of speed and forwardly placed types to keep a fluid pace.  Speed numbers are super close making this one a highly competitive event. Most are coming in for this one as only three have covered the Monmouth ground. It should be a great race.

#8 Light the City (McCarthy / McLaughlin) has a slight edge having already scored a victory over the Monmouth track.  She holds the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two strong workouts. #2 Curlish Figure (K. Coa  /  Proctor) should take another step forward as she has secured two victories in a row. She holds a couple of decent last out speed numbers from those wins, is working a tree race progression, and has put in three hearty workouts. As a daughter of Curlin she will sport a tracking/closing running style.

#6 Eskenformoney (Bravo / Pletcher) should be in the thick of it with the second highest speed number at the distance. A daughter of Eskendreya, she should take up a tracking position. This gal has put in three solid workouts prepping for this race. She has, arguably, the top connections behind her for this race.

#11 High Dollar Women (Rocco / Hobby) comes into this race off a victory in the Indiana Oaks at Indiana Grand. She holds the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two stellar workouts. A daughter of Kentucky Derby winner, Super Saver, she should be forwardly placed seeking to pull away from the field.
