Los Alamitos Race 8 {Bayakoa Handicap~G2~1 1/16 mile~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Graded Stakes}
A solid group of eight gals will take to the Los Al dirt. There is enough speed to keep an honest pace. Dirt speed numbers are very close which should produce a highly competitive race. Our task is to cobble together a wining 10 CENT Superfecta ticket.
#6 Pacific Wind (Bejarano / Eurton) should be able to get the job done with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three strong peaking workouts. This gal holds a win at the distance in her only try and is 83% in the money from six career starts. She is our Bronze horseshoe selection.
$4 SHOW.
#2 Champagn Room (Gutierrez / Eurton) should pose a great challenge with the third highest last out speed number and two hearty workouts. She has notched two wins at this distance from three efforts. This talented gal is the only millionaire in the field. She should be forwardly placed.
#4 Madame Stripes [ARG] (Talamo / Drysdale) looks to contend with a couple of very good last out speed numbers and four significant workouts. She will be switching from turf to dirt for this race and should handle it well. This lady is 73% in the money from fifteen starts.
#7 Shenandoah Queen (Espinoza / Sadler) should find herself in the mix with a couple of good last out speed numbers and three stamina inducing workouts. She is 75% in the money from twelve career starts.
