Going Long on the Turf along the Jersey Shore

 Off we go to one of the Premiere North American tracks to wager and watch on a grade one Turf race along the Jersey shore.

Monmouth Park Race 11 {United Nations~G1~1 3/8 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Graded Stakes}

A very competitive field of nine will hit the grass in this annual contest.

 We go long on the Turf for a fabulous Belmont Derby day.

Superfecta Sunday down in South Florida

 We go to the synthetic for a great little sprint in South Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 8 {Bob Umphrey Sprint Stakes~5 1/2 Furlongs~Tapeta~3 year-old Up~Stakes}

A good field of eight will go to the gate in this sprint.

Not all of these lads have raced over the Tapeta surface. Two will be making the change from Turf to synthetic. There is plenty of speed to insure a hot pace. Speed figs are very close making it ultra-competitive. Interestingly all have covered this distance a few times in their career. It should be an excellent race on this Superfecta Sunday.
