2014 Breeder's Cup Championships

Arguably the best undercard of the year, The Breeder's Cup Championships in lovely Arcadia, California. For this Stakes Saturday we take a gander at a top of the line Turf race which should be most exhilarating.

Santa Anita Park Race 9 {Longines Breeder's Cup Turf~G1~1 1/2 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Graded Stakes}

It appears the Euro invaders should dominate this race, though it should be quite contentious. There is ample speed to keep the pace honest. It will be up to the trackers and closers to bring them home in the stretch run, however. All these lads and one filly, Chiquita [IRE], appear to be in top form. A great race will unfold.

#1 Telescope [IRE] (Moore / Stoute) should get the job done from a tracking position. This lad is 100% in the money from ten starts. He comes from across the pond with a couple of excellent last out performances. He is also 100% in the money at the distance. Coming off a brief layoff, he should fire fresh.
$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

#4 Brown Panther [GB] (Kingcote / Dascombe) will challenge coming off a longer route prior to a brief freshening. His last two races were also quite good, finishing in the money in both. This guy should be a bit closer to the leaders seeking to get first strike capability. He holds a record that shows ten wins and an in the money record of 70%.
$2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#7 Flintshire [GB} (Guyon / Fabre) will contend with a couple of superb last out performances.  This lightly raced lad has an enviable 70% in the money record. He should be coming into peak form for his North American debut. This guy is the class of the field.

Another Wagering Interest
