A splendid field of eleven will go to the grass in this mid-card feature. It comes up a little light on speed which should create a magnificent quickening coming into the stretch. The Last Kentucky Derby Prep Race

 On this Stakes Saturday we look at the last Kentucky Derby prep race on the points list. These horses will need 40 + points to get a gate in KD150. This race only offers 20-10-6-4-2 for first through fifth place respectively. It should be a fine race.

A reduced field of nine will go to the gate in this graded stakes race.

Furlong Friday in Hot Springs, Arkansas

 While we love the Fair Grounds meet. Early morning rain may wash races off the Turf and the small field sizes will make us look elsewhere for Furlong Friday rewards. We look in on a swell Maiden Special Weight race in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Oaklawn Park Race 8 {6 Furlongs~3 year-old~Fillies~Maiden Special Weight}

A full field of twelve will go to the gate in this competitive Maiden Special Weight race.

This is a relatively experienced field with only one horse having run six races. Speed numbers are fairly close. It does come up light on speed as there are only three that like to sit in behind the speed. It should be a fine race to kick off our horse racing weekend.
