Superfecta Sunday in OK

 We take in the beauty of Oklahoma as we focus on the lucky last over the Turf on Oklahoma Derby day.

A nice full field of twelve will hit the green.

This race comes up very light on speed. Count on it being run like the Euro races across the pond with a tremendous quickening coming into the stretch. Speed numbers are very close among this group. #10 Sunlit Song (B. Hernandez / Willis) should battle from a forwardly placed position. This guy is another that hit the board in all of his starts (four) at this distance. Last raced at Houston, he comes in with a vibrant workout tab of four strengthening workouts. A son of Golden Song, he is 76% in the money from thirty-four career starts.

A fine field of nine ladies will hit the fantastic Kentucky Downs course.

There are a few gals that should be forwardly placed that could push the pace. Speed numbers are very close which should make this one quite competitive. Only two will be stretching out to this distance. Key to success at Kentucky Downs is a good workout tab. All of these ladies check that box. It should be another terrific race on todays KD card.

#8 Family Way (Gaffalione / B. Walsh) will go off as the favorite with the second highest last out speed number and two solid workouts. She loves the surface, distance and course. Definitely the one to beat. A daughter of Uncle Mo, she is 70% in the money from seventeen career starts.

A Little Turf Action in Minnesota

 We go up to Minnesota to catch some great Turf action on this Superfecta Sunday.

A solid field of ten will hit the Minnesota green.

This nicely bred group should be very competitive. There is enough speed to keep the pace rolling. Speed figs are very close. Only three have not raced over the Canterbury course. it should be an excellent race to wager and watch.
