Superfecta Sunday Deep in the Heart of Texas

On this Superfecta Sunday, we take a look at a nice Turf mile deep in the heart of Texas.

Lone Star Park Race 8 {1 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Claiming}

A great field of twelve will take to the green in this Turf mile. There is plenty of speed to keep the pace humming. Speed numbers are relatively close. It should be a competitive affair. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#1 Venus de Milo (McMahon / Calhoun) should be able to handle this field well with the highest speed number at the distance and one solid workout. Overall she is 51% in the money from thirty-seven starts. This gal has the speed to control the pace to her liking. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#8 Kitchen Boss (Diego / Asmussen) will challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and three hearty workouts. She holds the second highest speed number at the distance. She should close vigorously.

#9 Dominika {MEX] (Arellano / Whitelaw) should contend with the second highest last out speed number and two robust peaking workouts. This gal holds the highest speed number over the Lone Star course. She should be forwardly place positioning for a score.

#11 Cactus Needles (Sigala / Davidson) should be in the hunt with the highest last out speed number. This gal looks in fine form as she transitions from a couple of last out dirt races to the Turf. She should fine a comfortable spot just off the pace.
