Another Santa Anita Superfecta Sunday

 We find a nice maiden race at beautiful Santa Anita to handicap on this Superfecta Sunday.

Santa Anita Park Race 8 {1 mile~3, 4, 5 year-olds~Fillies / Mares~Maiden Claiming}

An interesting crew of ten will go to the gate in this maiden claiming race.

Past Performances used:  Equibase.

This race comes a little light on speed, though there are a few that desire to be forwardly placed. One first time starter is in the field. Speed numbers are fairly close. Most have run this mile distance and two will be stretching out. It should be a highly competitive race with a potential for a nice superfecta payout.

#7 Vutin (Herrera / Papaprodromou) is the deserved favorite with the highest last out speed number and four strong workouts. She has hit the board in his last two. Look for her to travel close to the pace. A daughter of Kitten's Joy, she is 20% in the money from ten starts.

$2 WIN  /  $3 PLACE  /  $5 SHOW.

#6 Stylish Dress (Aquilar / Blacker) is the first-time starter in the field. She has cobbled together a string of three quality workouts in the last thirty days. A daughter of Noble Mission [GB], she should take nicely to the surface and distance.

#2 Ipanema Girl (T. Baze / Gaines) will stretch out while being forwardly placed. She is making her third career start. This gal holds the fourth highest last out speed number and four solid peaking workouts. A daughter of Strong Mandate, she should hit the board in her third try.

#9 Moroccan Queen (Escobedo / Nehf) should track the pace in her fourth race seeking to hit the board. This gal has traveled the distance and has put in three sound workouts. A daughter of Cairo Prince, she has a good chance to hit the board.

Other Wagering Interests
