Stakes Saturday at Belmont Park

We begin our horse racing weekend on Stakes Saturday. Today we take in a lively Turf contest at magnificent Belmont Park.

Belmont Park Race 8 {Pennine Ridge~G3~1 1/8 mile~innner TURF~3 year old~Graded Stakes}

A talented field of ten will strut onto the green in this spectacular Turf contest. It comes up a little light on speed making for a fine positioning battle among these foes. Speed numbers are relatively close which gives any one a chance at victory. Only one in the field has gone this distance. It should be a marvelous Turf race.

#2 Camelot Kitten (I. Ortiz / C. Brown) should be capable of winning a second in a row provided there is ample speed. He holds the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two sturdy workouts. This son of Kitten's Joy should hit stride in his third start of the form cycle. He should close swiftly.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#5 Highland Sky (L. Saez / Tagg) will challenge with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and four high quality workouts. This lad will be stretching out to this distance. He does hold the highest speed number over the Turf. A son of Sky Mesa, he will join in the fun, closing hard.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#7 Call Provision (J. Ortiz / C. Brown) should contend making his second career start after scoring a victory last out covering a slightly shorter route. He earned a respectable speed number in that race and should improve upon it. This lad could close earnestly with the rest of the quickening crowd. He is a son of Lemon Drop Kid.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Dressed in Hermes (Cancel / Armstrong) should be in the hunt with a couple of excellent last out speed numbers and two striking bullet workouts. He will travel over the Belmont Turf for the first time. This son of Hat Trick [JPN] could be forwardly placed ready to strike going into the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Camelot Kitten  /  #5 Highland Sky  /  #7 Call Provision, #6 Dressed in Hermes  /  ALL.

Superfecta Sunday in Sunny So Cal

Superfecta Sunday falls upon us quick. Today we take in a fantastic classic Turf contest at that great race place.

Santa Anita Park R8 {Charles Whittingham~G2~1 1/4 mile~3 year-old Up~Graded Stakes}

A great group of ten will take to the green in this classic graded stakes race. It does come up light on speed, gut it should be an honest one. Speed figs are relatively close for this classy group. It should be one of the most exciting races on this Superfecta Sunday. Our task is to stitch together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

It should be noted that our Bronze Horseshoe wager is bumped up as it is one of our weekly rolling show parlays. Our selection has hit the board for four weeks in a row. Let's grab another, shall we?

#6 Royal Albert Hall [GB] (Bejarano / O'Neill) appears to be in great form and may get his way with these lads. He holds the second highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer route, a four race progression, and three robust workouts. He should track the pace ready to swing swiftly into the stretch. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$5 SHOW.

#10 Quick Cassablanca [CHI] (T. Baze / McAnally) is another in good form. He hsares the second highest last out speed number at a longer route, is working a four race progression, and has put in three strong workouts. With the proper pace he will be coming on fast in the stretch.

#1 Blingo (A. Solis / Shirreffs) should be capable of putting forth another good effort. He holds the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route, a four race progression, and four hearty workouts. This guy is another that should track the pace ready to strike in the stretch.

#5 Bal a Bali [BRZ] (Prat / Mandella) might be the one to beat as he gets back to the classic distance he used to run in his native land. He holds the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb peaking workouts. This lad is a pure tracker and should be right in the thick of it heading into the stretch.
