Classic Superfecta Sunday

We take in a classic turf distance on this Superfecta Sunday.

Keeneland Race 7 {1 1/2 mile~TURF~4 year-old Up~Allowance}

An interesting group of ten will go to the grass at this classic distance. The race comes up light on speed therefore a quickening pack should battle going into the home stretch. Speed numbers are fairly close over the Turf. All, but one will be stretching out to this distance. Our task is to mold together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket. It should be an intriguing race to wager and watch.

#7 Good Response (Bravo / McLaughlin) is coming off an extended layoff, but has the back speed figs to hold sway among this crew. Prior to the layoff he holds the highest last out speed number a furlong shy of this distance. He has a strong workout tab of three superb peaking works. This guy could be close to the pace ready to strike. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$1 SHOW.

#4 Circus Performer (Geroux / Pletcher) should have no problem grabbing this distance as a son of Dynaformer. He holds the third highest last out speed number coupled with a bullet workout. This lad will need some pace to launch his closing kick.

#5 Johns Kitten (Leparoux / Maker) should also challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and four superlative peaking workouts. This lad is embarking on his fourth win in a row. He should be able to track the pace and find a hole to fire through.

#3 Bokeelia Island (Castellano / McGaughey) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two sound workouts. He is another that will close into the stretch.

Stakes Saturday at the Big "A"

We begin a late start for our Horse Racing Weekend by viewing a quality Stakes Saturday race at the "Big A".

Aqueduct Race 7 {Woodhaven Stakes~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old~Stakes}

A great group of nine will take to the Aqueduct green in this high level stakes race. There is plenty of speed to keep the pace humming. Speed numbers very close which gives a chance to any of the runners to pull off the victory. It should be a terrific Turf contest.

#7 Unbridled Daddy (Franco / Pletcher) might have the edge with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb workouts. He is one of two in the field that has already notched two career wins. This son of Scat Daddy should close gallantly into a speedy pace.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#3 Dixie Runner (I. Ortiz / C. Brown) will challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers over the dirt, a three race progression, and four robust workouts. This lad should relish the switch from dirt to turf. A son of Flatter, he should be forwardly placed seeking a good position to flow through the stretch.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#2 Highland Sky (L. Saez / Tagg) should go off as the favorite sharing the highest last out speed number, having a four race progression, and putting in two hearty workouts. This son of Sky Mesa in another that will show a strong closing kick.

Another Wagering Interest

#4 Too Discreet (Carmouch / Clement) is coming off a longer layoff as he makes his first start of the year. He holds a perfect two for two record. This guy has put up four bullet workouts in preparation. A son of Discreet Cat, he should be forwardly placed ready to roll.
