Stakes Saturday Sweet Home Arlington

Heading into the unofficial start of summer onto the Arlington International Turf.

Arlington International Race 8 {Arlington Classic~G3~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A great crop of six talented horses will hit the yielding green in this prelude to the Secretariat Stakes on Million Day. There are four Triple Crown nominees among this group. Speed numbers are barely discernable as any of these have the chance to pull off the victory. There is some pace and both of those lads should be in the thick of it. It should be a great TURF race.

#7 Parlor (Castanon / Kenneally) might have the advantage with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two strong workouts. This son of Lonhro [AUS] should take up a tracking position and strike in the stretch.
$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

#6 Fast and Accurate (Hill / Maker) should challenge with a solid win over a Turf surface. he exits KD 143 and appears to prefer either the synthetic or Turf. Dropping in from that longer route of a mile and quarter, he has prepped with two excellent peaking workouts. This son of Hansen could show speed from the opening of the gates.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#8 Cowboy Culture (Bridgmohan / Cox) will contend with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two stout workouts. He should be part of the tracking pack as they make their way around the Arlington course. A son of Quality Road, he has posted all three of his career wins over the Turf.

Superfecta Sunday along the Jersey Shore

We roll into a superb Superfecta Sunday for a fantastic stakes route on the Jersey dirt.

A great group of eight gals will make their start in this Sunday stakes race. Half the field will be coming off extended layoffs, making their first start this year.  There is plenty of speed in this crew to present an honest pace.  Speed figures appear to be very close at the distance and over the surface. Our task will be to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta ticket. It should be a very exciting race.

#7 Montana Native (Bravo / Clement) is coming off an extended layoff and should go off as the favorite. She shares the second highest speed number at the distance with a 100% in the money record from six starts at same. This gal has been prepped with four high quality peaking workouts. Look for her to be forwardly placed. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
