Superfecta Sunday along the Jersey Shore

On this Superfecta Sunday, we enjoy an exciting grade one stakes race along the Jersey shore.

Monmouth Park Race 12 {William Hill Haskell Invitational~G1~1 1/8 mile~3 year old~Stakes}
A top flight group of nine will make their start in this annual summer grade one.  There is significant parity among this group that any horse in the field could win.  The race is filled with speed so a ferocious pace is assured. It may come down to the readiness of those that sit right off the pace to achieve victory.  Our challenge is to put together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#3 Albano (Clark / L. Jones) may have a minuscule edge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb workouts.  This lad has the ability to stay close to the speed and launch into the stretch.  He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#7 Untappable (Napravnik / Asmussen) is the only filly to give challenge to these lads. She enters this competition with a four race win streak, a couple of excellent last out speed numbers, including the highest one at the distance, and two strong peaking workouts. This filly could topple this group with a fiery run from off the pace.

Woodbine Race 8 (1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A superb field of ten will take to the beautiful Woodbine Turf course in this feature allowance race.  There is plenty of speed to heat up the pace.  A hot pace will certainly benefit those coming from off that pace.  It should be a great race.

#7 Say Ow (Sutherland Kruse / Mattine) could have a slight edge with the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and two strong workouts.  This lad is coming off an extended layoff where he was last seen on the Santa Anita dirt.  He could benefit with a tracking running style.

#10 Flashlight [IRE] (Contreras / Lynch) is coming off an even longer layoff, but has done well off of such before.  Prior to the layoff he holds the fourth highest last out speed number, was working a two race progression, and has put in four supreme workouts.  Expect him to be forwardly placed ready to strike in the stretch.
