A great group of twelve will go to the dirt in this lucky last on the card stakes race.

Furlong Friday at Fair Grounds ep. 1

 We lean back into our Furlong Friday with a challenging race at the Fair Gounds. In an attempt to pad our bankroll, we look at the youngsters in a dirt sprint.

Fair Grounds Race Course Race 9 {6 Furlongs~2 year-old~Maiden Special Weight}

A unique group of eleven will go to the gate in this lucky last race on the card.

Only four of these youngsters will be making their second start. The other seven will start for the first time making this race a significant challenge to handicap. One has to look at the Trainer/ Jockey stats as well as the workouts to determine which contestants will make a good run. It should be a heck of a strong race with the possibility of a great 10 CENT Superfecta payout.

#3 Hero Worship (Pedroza / B. Cox) is a first-time starter that is primed to run an excellent race with three high powered workouts. A son of Uncle Mo, he had a purchase price of 350k.

 On this Superfecta Sunday there is not much on the Stakes docket, but we did find a nice little Turf race in New York named after one of the best Turfers.

An excellent field of eight will hit the green in this annual event.
