 While we love the Fair Grounds meet. Early morning rain may wash races off the Turf and the small field sizes will make us look elsewhere for Furlong Friday rewards. We look in on a swell Maiden Special Weight race in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

A well-blended field of ten will hit the Turf in this annual contest.

With an intact field of ten this should be a highly competitive event with any of these fellas capable of victory. There is a nice balance of speed which should produce an honest pace. Speed figs are very close. Six have improving speed numbers over their last three races. All but one has raced over the Santa Anita Turf. It should be one of the best Stakes races on the day.
