Superfecta Sunday, Santa Anita Take Five

We spring into Superfecta Sunday with at highly competitive Turf race at splendid Santa Anita.

Santa Anita Race 7 {Santa Ana~G2~1 1/8 mile~4 year Up~Fillies/Mares~Stakes}
A talented group of eleven gals will strut onto the green for this extremely competitive distance TURF race.  A large group of forwardly placed and an equally large group of tracker/closers will square off in what could appear as a Euro-style race.  The big challenge is to cobble together our top four, making our 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket.

#2 Cambina [IRE] (Gomez / Bonde) appears to be in fine form with the third highest (5-way tie) last out speed number, sharing the second highest speed number at the distance, and putting in three speedy workouts.  She is a pure closer that could finish these others off with the right trip.

#11 City to City (Nakatani / Hollendorfer) is the deserved favorite with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a five race progression, and four well stacked, peaking workouts.  She should join in the quickening heading into the final stretch.

#9 Bauble Queen (Talamo / Kruljac) looks ready to run a great race sharing the third highest last out speed number, has scored a win at this distance in her only try, and has put in three excellent, peaking workouts.  She is our bronze horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#10 Andina [IRE] (Espinoza / Cecil) looks strong enough to make it in to the top four with the fourth highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and four strong, peaking workouts.  She could find herself forwardly placed ready to gear up in the final stretch.
