Stakes Saturday Sweet Home Arlington

Heading into the unofficial start of summer onto the Arlington International Turf.

Arlington International Race 8 {Arlington Classic~G3~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A great crop of six talented horses will hit the yielding green in this prelude to the Secretariat Stakes on Million Day. There are four Triple Crown nominees among this group. Speed numbers are barely discernable as any of these have the chance to pull off the victory. There is some pace and both of those lads should be in the thick of it. It should be a great TURF race.

#7 Parlor (Castanon / Kenneally) might have the advantage with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two strong workouts. This son of Lonhro [AUS] should take up a tracking position and strike in the stretch.
$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

#6 Fast and Accurate (Hill / Maker) should challenge with a solid win over a Turf surface. he exits KD 143 and appears to prefer either the synthetic or Turf. Dropping in from that longer route of a mile and quarter, he has prepped with two excellent peaking workouts. This son of Hansen could show speed from the opening of the gates.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#8 Cowboy Culture (Bridgmohan / Cox) will contend with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two stout workouts. He should be part of the tracking pack as they make their way around the Arlington course. A son of Quality Road, he has posted all three of his career wins over the Turf.

#9 Giant Payday (C. Landeros / Wilkes) should be in the mix from the outset. This guy holds a couple of very good last out speed numbers, a four race progression, and three stellar workouts. He has acquitted himself well over the slog. A son of Giant's Causeway, he loves the Turf.

10 CENT Superfecta

#7 Parlor  /  #6 Fast and Accurate  /  #8 Cowboy Culture, #9 Giant Payday  /  ALL.

Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Cheekaboo, ended up finishing 5th due to the disqualification of the #1 horse, Pacific Heat.
Bankroll gets chewed up settling at $2.25. We will supplement with a Hamilton for todays racing.
