Let's Go to Ohio

 A really nice Sprint Stakes race will unfold for the Ohio bred speedsters in the penultimate race at Mahoning Valley.

A large field of thirteen will go to the gate in this annual event.

Plenty of speedsters and forwardly placed types will keep the pace swift. Speed figs are very close for these talented Ohio breds. There are two millionaires in the field. All, but one have raced over the MVR track. This should be an outstanding stakes card on a wonderful Stakes Saturday.

#6 Authentic Cowtown (L. Batista / Ibarra) comes off a route race with a sharp peaking workout. He should track the pace closely and strike in the stretch. This gelding enjoys the dirt, distance, and track. A son of Cowtown Cat, he is 69% in the money from twenty-six starts.

#13 Trojan Tale (F. Peterson / Maker) should be forwardly place in a comfortable position. He has one half of his six races at this distance. Adding two good workouts over the last thirty days and he appears ready to do well. A son of Outwork, he is 60% in the money from ten starts.
