Staying on at Saratoga for Superfecta Sunday

 We continue our effort during the "Belmont Racing Festival" and look at a rescheduled Grade One Turf sprint on this Superfecta Sunday.

A great field of ten will hit the grass in this annual event.

There is enough speed to create an honest pace. Speed figs are fairly close. Half the field will run over the Saratoga course for the first time. All but one have gone this distance. It should be a fantastic race to play on this Superfecta Sunday.

#2 Think Big (Curtis / Stidham) is the deserved favorite seeking his fourth win in a row. He comes in with the highest last out speed number and three solid workouts. He will be in the tracker pack ready to strike in the stretch. A son of Twirling Candy, he is 66% in the money from nine starts.

#5 Arzak (I. Ortiz / Trombetta) is another that will seek position among the tracker pack. He holds a good last out speed number and four powerful peaking workouts. He can be considered a distance specialist. A millionaire son of Not This Time, he is 50% in the money from thirty-two starts.

#9 Ag Bullet (J. Velazquez / Baltas) is a mare taking on the boys. She holds a decent last out speed number and three superb peaking workouts. She will show speed as part of the pacesetters. This gal will attempt the Saratoga course for the first time. A millionaire daughter of Twirling Candy, she is 61% in the money from thirteen starts.

#4 My Boy Prince (J. Lezcano / M. Casse) comes in with the second highest last out speed number and one sound workout. This gelding should be forwardly placed. He has a three-race speed fig progression and should take another step forward. A son of Cairo Prince, he is 73% in the money from fifteen starts.

#8 Alogon (M. Franco / Allard) comes to the race with the third highest (tie) last out speed number and three aggressive workouts. This lad has hit the board in his last four races. He should track the pace closely and get first run on the trackers. A son of California Chrome, he is 65% in the money from twenty starts.

#7 Bold Journey (Cancel / W. Mott) shares the third highest last out speed number and has put in three robust workouts. This guy is the only contender to attempt this distance for the first time. Look for him to be part of the tracker pack. A son of Hard Spun, he is 61% in the money from twenty-six starts.
