Stakes Saturday at Belmont Park

We begin our horse racing weekend on Stakes Saturday. Today we take in a lively Turf contest at magnificent Belmont Park.

Belmont Park Race 8 {Pennine Ridge~G3~1 1/8 mile~innner TURF~3 year old~Graded Stakes}

A talented field of ten will strut onto the green in this spectacular Turf contest. It comes up a little light on speed making for a fine positioning battle among these foes. Speed numbers are relatively close which gives any one a chance at victory. Only one in the field has gone this distance. It should be a marvelous Turf race.

#2 Camelot Kitten (I. Ortiz / C. Brown) should be capable of winning a second in a row provided there is ample speed. He holds the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two sturdy workouts. This son of Kitten's Joy should hit stride in his third start of the form cycle. He should close swiftly.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#5 Highland Sky (L. Saez / Tagg) will challenge with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and four high quality workouts. This lad will be stretching out to this distance. He does hold the highest speed number over the Turf. A son of Sky Mesa, he will join in the fun, closing hard.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#7 Call Provision (J. Ortiz / C. Brown) should contend making his second career start after scoring a victory last out covering a slightly shorter route. He earned a respectable speed number in that race and should improve upon it. This lad could close earnestly with the rest of the quickening crowd. He is a son of Lemon Drop Kid.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#6 Dressed in Hermes (Cancel / Armstrong) should be in the hunt with a couple of excellent last out speed numbers and two striking bullet workouts. He will travel over the Belmont Turf for the first time. This son of Hat Trick [JPN] could be forwardly placed ready to strike going into the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta

#2 Camelot Kitten  /  #5 Highland Sky  /  #7 Call Provision, #6 Dressed in Hermes  /  ALL.

Last Superfecta Sunday (5/29) Results
