Stakes Saturday at the Big "A"

We begin a late start for our Horse Racing Weekend by viewing a quality Stakes Saturday race at the "Big A".

Aqueduct Race 7 {Woodhaven Stakes~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old~Stakes}

A great group of nine will take to the Aqueduct green in this high level stakes race. There is plenty of speed to keep the pace humming. Speed numbers very close which gives a chance to any of the runners to pull off the victory. It should be a terrific Turf contest.

#7 Unbridled Daddy (Franco / Pletcher) might have the edge with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb workouts. He is one of two in the field that has already notched two career wins. This son of Scat Daddy should close gallantly into a speedy pace.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#3 Dixie Runner (I. Ortiz / C. Brown) will challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers over the dirt, a three race progression, and four robust workouts. This lad should relish the switch from dirt to turf. A son of Flatter, he should be forwardly placed seeking a good position to flow through the stretch.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#2 Highland Sky (L. Saez / Tagg) should go off as the favorite sharing the highest last out speed number, having a four race progression, and putting in two hearty workouts. This son of Sky Mesa in another that will show a strong closing kick.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#4 Too Discreet (Carmouch / Clement) is coming off a longer layoff as he makes his first start of the year. He holds a perfect two for two record. This guy has put up four bullet workouts in preparation. A son of Discreet Cat, he should be forwardly placed ready to roll.

Last Superfecta Sunday (4/17) Results
