Fun-tastic Fairgrounds

Ahh, Sunday.  Today we look at a fabulous Turf race at Fairgrounds.

Fairgrounds Race 9 {1 mile~Turf~4 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
A nice enjoyable turf race for the last day of the horse racing weekend.  It appears that Snakebite Kit (Jacinto / Johnston) is head and shoulders above the rest.  He will making his third career start so should improve fabulously.  He has a decent last out speed number and two hardy, peaking workouts.  Leestown Legacy (Roberts / Keen) is dropping down in distance in which he posted a good speed number and with three burly, peaking workouts he should do well in this spot.  Twilight Ross (Albarado / Burgeois) looks ready to make a nice run with the highest last out speed number and an effective workout.  Three others that will compete for a piece of the purse pie are: Candiano (Sellers / Lewis) coming down in distance with a decent speed number and two robust, peaking workouts; Rew's Blues (Graham / Hodges) with a solid speed number over the Fairgrounds course and two beefy, peaking workouts; and Lite the Cigar (Melancon / Hudson) who is coming down in distance and has two solid works.  Let's play a tantalizing Turf race at Fairgrounds.
