Spring into Aqueduct and Gulfstream

As the weather begins to turn a little warmer we look at two nice Allowance races at Aqueduct and Gulfstream.

Aqueduct Race 8 {6 furlong~3 year old~NY~Allowance}
A very nice field in this one.  Raynick's Jet (Cohen / Asmussen) will be the one to beat.  He shares the top best out speed number, is coming off a route race, and has by far the best work tab of the group with four peaking workouts.  C'Est Qui Ton Pere (Serpa / Galluscio) also has the top last out speed number coupled with a strong workout.  He likes the Aqueduct track and has won two of the three races he has run at this distance.  Irving Rules (Luzzi / Pletcher) also has two wins out of three races at the distance.  He has a decent last out speed number and two good workouts.  Cajun Jet (Dominguez / R. Dutrow) and Vital Argument (Fragoso / Lecesse) will both challenge this group for the victory.  Both have solid records at the distance and overall.  This should prove to be a very close race.  Let's play the Big "A".

Gulfstream Race 8 {1 1/16 mile~Turf~4 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A full and competitive field lines up for this one on the grass.  Speak Easy Gal (Trujillo / Wolfson) looks much the best of this group.  She is 100% in the money at the distance, has the highest last out speed number with a very nice seven race progression and three fabulous workouts.  Cades Bay (De Carlo / Tagg) also has a fine last out speed number coupled with two decent workouts.  She looks ready to go.  Salve Germania(IRE) (Castellano / Pletcher) has the highest speed number across the board and three very robust workouts.  Could challenge for the victory with a good trip.  Bright Array (Castro / Eppler) appears to be well prepared to go up in distance with a three race progression, a good last out speed number and a very strong workout.  Let's give the old Turf try at Gulfstream.
