Racing on the East Coast

Friday brings us to a race at Belmont Park and one at Philadelphia Park.

Philadelphia Park Race 7 {1 mile 70 yards~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}
A field of eight will go to the gate in this route race.  Untuttable Jet (Pennington / Aristone) is the veteran at this distance and she should do well coming off a longer route.  She followed up that effort with three stellar workouts.  Single Scoop (Elliott / Kasperski) should do well with a decent last out speed number and a single robust workout.  So Explosive (Carmouche / McGaughey) is ready to fire with a good last out speed number at this distance and two healthy workouts.  Philadelphia offers no 10 cent superfecta in this race.  Let's play it.

$2 SHOW:  #3 Untuttable Jet
$2 SHOW:  #7 Single Scoop
NO 10 CENT Superfecta.

Belmont Park Race 8 {6 furlongs~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~ Optional Claiming}
A nice field of six will start in this race.  Goodday (Prado / S. Dutrow) looks much the best with the second highest last out speed number four fierce, peaking workouts, and a two race progression.  Katy Now (J. Velazquez) looks strong coming off a long layoff with a four race progression and three hearty workouts.  Ain't Love Grand (Maragh / Sacco) looks able to do well with two credible last out speed numbers and one peaking workout.  Belmont offers no 10 cent superfecta on this race.  Let's play Belmont.
