A good field of nine ladies will strut onto the green in this first on the card mile race. There is a limited amount of speed which should produce a modest pace. Speed numbers are fairly close making for a clear handicapping challenge. Our task is to whittle a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket.

#3 Jeana Baby (Prat / Miller) might have the edge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb workouts. She will be transferring from turf to dirt for her third career start. Look for her to track the pace and strike in the stretch.

#5 If You Believe (Talamo / Glatt) should challenge with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number in her first start. She adds Lasix today and has put in four significant workouts. With a proper pace she should close well.

#6 Lady Cloud (T. Baze / V. Garcia) should contend with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four robust peaking workouts. She will be stretching out for this race and should be tracking the pace closely.

#7 Lady Chairman (A. Lezcano / Drysdale) should also contend with a couple of decent last out performances and three excellent stamina producing workouts. This gal should be tracking the pace looking for an opening going into the stretch.
