Superfecta Sunday Up North

We take a look at a high quality graded stakes sprint in glorious Canada.

Woodbine Race 8 {Kennedy Road~G2~6 Furlongs~3 year-old Up~Graded Stakes}

A great group of eight will go to the gate in this contentious sprint. There is plenty of raw speed to make this a quick one. Speed numbers are very close giving the indication that any equine in this race could win. Our task, however, is to combine a group of four for our 20 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#1 Puntrooskie (DaSilva / Macrae) might benefit from the speedsters dueling from the start. He holds the second highest last out speed number and has put in three supreme workouts prepping for this race. This guy holds the second highest speed number at the distance. Expect him to sit off the pace ready to strike. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$3 SHOW.

#4 Stacked Deck (R. Hernandez / Minshall) could go off as the favorite with the highest last out speed number and two stellar workouts. He holds the highest speed number at the distance. This guy loves the Woodbine synthetic and will be part of the speed pack up front.

#6 Passion for Action (Contreras / DePaulo) should contend with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one superb workout. This lad loves the Woodbine surface and the distance. He could benefit greatly from a furious pace as he tracks the front runners.

#5 Jacks Escarpment (Wilson / Gonzalez) should be in the mix with the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer sprint and one solid workout. This guy will be part of the speedy group on the front end. He has an enviable in the money record at the distance of 90% from ten starts.
