Stakes Saturday in South Florida

With the "Championship Season" in full swing we take in a contentious Turf battle in Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 8 {El Prado Stakes~7 1/2 Furlongs~TURF~3 year-old Up~Stakes}

A top notch group of eight will enter the Turf gate in this annual affair. There is plenty of speed to keep a high level pace moving across the course. Speed figs are very close. It should be one of the most exciting races of the day.

#6 Go Around (Castellano / Mott) might have the edge with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route, a four race progression, and two superb workouts. This guy has the tactical speed to keep to the task. A son of Medaglia d'Oro, he is well rested and excellently pointed in this race.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#5 Flatlined (Bravo / Dickey) should produce a season best with a couple of good last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and two sensational peaking workouts. He loves the Gulfstream course hitting his top speed number here. A son of Flatter, he should be able to cruise close to the pace and spring forward into the stretch.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#1 Heart to Heart (Leparoux / Lynch) could off as the favorite with the highest last out speed number as well as the highest overall speed number on the Turf.  He has put in one bullet workout prepping for this race. A speedster son of English Channel, he could wire this field.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#2 Security Risk (Velazquez / McGaughey) has some significant upside potential with the fourth highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two strong workouts. He should be traveling close to the pace ready to strike. This son of War Front, will be hitting the Gulfstream Turf for the first time.

#7 Reporting Star (L. Saez / Walsh) is another that could be moving into a peak performance with a couple of excellent last out speed numbers, a three race progression, and one solid workout. A son of Circular Quay, he should travel smoothly in mid-pack readying his assault in the stretch.
