A Turfy Stakes Saturday

We look down Kentucky way for an enjoyable Turf battle for the girls.

Keeneland Race 9 {Queen Elizabeth II Cup~Grade 1~1 1/8 mile~3 year-old~Fillies~Graded Stakes}

A smashing field of ten will hit the Keeneland green in this annual event. It comes up light on speed, so strategy will be key as the gate opens. Speed numbers are all very close making it any one of these gals race. It should be the most exciting race of the day.

#2 Proctor's Ledge (Lanerie / B. Walsh) could make it three wins in a row. She holds the highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and three strong workouts. This gal loves the Turf, the distance and the Keeneland course. A daughter of Ghostzapper, she should track the pace closely and explode into the stretch.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#4 Dream Dancing (Leparoux / B. Walsh) should challenge with the second highest (four-way tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and four superior peaking workouts. A daughter of Tapit, she should close earnestly.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#11 New Money Honey (Castellano / C. Brown) will contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and four excellent workouts. She has already earned a victory at this distance and is one of four that has traveled over the Keeneland course. A millionaire daughter of Medaglia d'Oro, she should be close to the pace.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#10 Uni [GB] (I. Ortiz / C. Brown) will be in the mix with the third highest last out speed number and two hearty workouts. She holds the best in the money record of this crew at 88% from nine career starts. A daughter of More Than Ready, she should be part of the tracking pack.
