Superfecta Sunday in New Mexico

On this Superfecta Sunday we take a look at a nice Stakes race in the 48th State.

Sunland Park Race 8 {Bold Ego Handicap~5 1/2 Furlongs~4 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Stakes}

A grand field of eleven will go to the gate in this feature stakes race. There is more than enough speed to take this group through a dazzling pace. Speed figs are quite varied, but should be fairly competitive. Our task is to cobble together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#3 Fight to Glory (D. Lopez / Diodoro) should go off as the deserved favorite with the fourth highest last out speed number, the highest speed number (tie) at the distance, and one solid workout. She should show speed. This daughter of American Lion is 83% in the money from eighteen career starts.

#5 Life of Illusion (Eikleberry / H. Dominguez) looks to be in good form with the third highest last out speed number, sharing the highest speed number at the distance, and putting in a sound workout. This gal has tactical speed that will serve her well among this speed laden crew. A daughter of Harlan's Holiday, she is 66% in the money from twelve career starts. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Raging Town (A. Juarez / Asmussen) should fire well after a brief freshening. This gal should be comfortable sitting just off the pace. She has put in one strong workout in preparation. Her speed numbers are competitive with this group. A daughter of Jersey Town, she is 54% in the money from eleven starts.

#8 Kram (L. Contreras / Fincher) is coming off an extended layoff with two significant workouts. This girl holds the second highest speed number over the Sunland track. The distance is right in her wheelhouse. A daughter of Colonel John, she is 66% in the money from six career starts.
