Superfecta Sunday in South Florida

We are thankful that horse racing carries on as we enjoy another Superfecta Sunday in South Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 10 {1 mile~TURF~3 year-old~Fillies~Maiden Special Weight}

A nice full field of twelve fillies will hit the Turf in this lucky last race on the card. There are five first time starters among this group making it a genuine challenge to find a winner and create good exotic tickets. Of those that have run there is little speed. Speed figs are pretty varied with three of the field coming off extended layoffs. Our task is to thread together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket. It should be a very good race to cap off another great weekend of horse racing.

#7 Key Biscayne (Jaramillo / J. Alvarado) might have a very slight edge coming off an extended layoff with the second highest last out speed number and four strong workouts. She loves the surface and the Gulfstream Park course. This daughter of Brethren, is 50% in the money from four career starts. Expect her to be forwardly placed. She is our Bronze Horseshoe, selection.
$3 SHOW.

#6 Urban Fairytale (C. Landeros / Wilkes) is another coming off a layoff with the highest last out speed number and three solid peaking workouts. This gal also holds the highest speed number at the distance. She should be tracking the pace. A daughter of Distorted Humor, she is 33% in the money from three career starts.

#9 Longpants Required (L. Saez / B. Walsh) comes off a modest layoff with the fourth highest last out speed number at a longer route and three hearty workouts. She is another that will be tracking the pace. A daughter of New Year's Day, she is 33% in the money from three starts.

#12 Pop a Choc (Gaffalione / M. Casse) is a first time starter from very strong connections. This daughter of Bernardini, was purchased for 330 thousand. Well intended with two sound workouts, she should be ready to roll. Trainer, Mark Casse has a 10% win record with first time starters.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#7 Key Biscayne  +  #6 Urban Fairytale  +  #9 Longpants Required  +  #12 Pop a Choc.
