Stakes Saturday in Arkansas

It is nice to have the horses running during these perilous times, On this Stakes Saturday we take a look at nice sprint down in Arkansas.

Oaklawn Park Race 9 {Purple Martin Stakes~6 furlongs~3 year-old~Fillies~Stakes}

A very nice group of nine fillies will enter the gate in this annual event. There is overwhelming speed among these lasses. Speed numbers are very, very close making this a highly competitive contest. Top to bottom this is a great bunch of sprinters. It could be the best and most exciting race on this Saturday.

#1 Kimari (Hill / W. Ward) makes the switch from Turf to dirt for this race. She holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number and four super strong workouts. This gal has shown speed as well as closing capability. A daughter of Munnings, she comes off an extended layoff with a 80% in the money record from five career starts.
$2 WIN  /  $3 PLACE  /  $5 SHOW.

#6 Lexi On the Move (Cohen / Diodoro) should challenge as she makes her third career start. She shares the third highest last out speed number and four swift peaking workouts. This gal should get a fine trip from a tracking position. In her two starts at this distance, she has won both. A daughter of Fast Anna, she loves the distance and the Oaklawn Park track.
