Superfecta Sunday Turf at Belmont

 On this Superfecta Sunday we look at a nice Turf contest for the young fillies.

Belmont Park Race 7 {Miss Grillo~G2~1 1/16 mile~TURF~2 year-old~Fillies~Graded Contests}

A good field of eight young, still developing, fillies will hit the grass in this annual event.

Past Performances used:  TimeFormUS

This should be a very competitive event with any of these fillies capable of stepping forward for the victory. There is some speed to keep the pace rolling. Speed numbers are fairly close. Only one has raced three times. Three of these gals will be stretching out to this distance for the first time. Our task is to loop together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket. It should be a fantastic race.

#8 Plum Ali (J. Ortiz / Clement) comes into this race with two successive wins and two fine workouts. She should be tracking and closing swiftly. This daughter of First Samurai, last raced at Kentucky Downs. She is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.

$1 SHOW.

#5 Director's Cut (D. Davis / M. Casse) is the only gal in this race that has already raced three times and successfully, hitting the board in all three efforts. She holds the fourth highest last out speed number and two superb peaking workouts. A daughter of Exaggerator, she last raced at Gulfstream Park.

#1 Lovestruck (J. Alvarado / Mott) holds the third highest last out speed number and two strong workouts. She won in her only start last out at Saratoga. This gal should track the pace ready to strike. A daughter of Tapit, she'll love this surface and distance.

#9 Editor At Large [IRE] (M. Franco / C. Brown) is another that won at first asking up at Saratoga. Her win came at this distance and she has put in two hearty workouts. She is another tracker that will allow for the pace to set up and then flourish. A daughter of Lope de Vega [IRE], she should show great improvement in her second career race.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#8 Plum Ali  +  #5 Director's Cut  +  #1 Lovestruck  +  #9 Editor At Large [IRE].
