Moving to the Dirt for Stakes Saturday

 We had hoped for a nice Turf contest on this Stakes Saturday, but it moves to the dirt down in Kentucky.

Churchill Downs Race 10 {Mrs. Revere Stakes~G2~1 1/16 mile~OFF Turf~3 year-old Up~Fillies~Graded Stakes}

A field of six will go to the gate in this annual affair.

Past Performances used:  Equibase.

There is some speed to maintain an honest pace. Speed numbers are fairly close among the top contenders. All have gone this distance. It should be an interesting race. Probably won't be much value in the wagering.

#3 Stunning Sky (Santana / Maker) shows the highest (tie) last out speed number and two solid workouts. She is a consistent type that should track the pace to her benefit. This gal has already has a win to her credit over the dirt. A daughter of Declaration of War, she is 54% in the money from eleven career starts.

$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

#4 Princess Grace (Geroux / Stidham) will challenge sharing the highest last out speed number and putting together two sound workouts. She should run closer to the pace. A daughter of Karakonite [JPN], she is 100% in the money from three career starts.

$2 SHOW.

#7 Witez (Leparoux / Wilkes) should contend with the third highest last out speed number and two strong workouts. She should be tracking the pace looking to strike. A daughter of More Than Ready, she is 63% in the money from eleven career starts.

$2 SHOW.

$1 Saturday Exacta Wheel ($5.00)

#3 Stunning Sky  //  ALL.

Last Superfecta Sunday (11/8) Results

Aqueduct R9.  Nashua Stakes--G3.  We just missed on our 10 CENT Superfecta Box effort grabbing three of the four wagering interests required to cash. Superfecta went 4-1-5-2.

Our Bronze Horseshoe selection, Pickin' Time, won (1st) for show money of $1.85.

Bankroll takes a small hit to settle at $27.07.
