A reduced field of seven will go to the gate in this Stakes sprint for the youngsters. There is speed o' plenty with this group. Speed figs are fairly close making this one competitive as these lads continue to show improvement in their racing careers. It should be a fine race.
#8 Fast Jack (Santiago / Becker) will making his second career start after winning at first asking. He holds the highest last out speed number among this crew. Add to that a modest layoff with three superb workouts, and there is a recipe for success. He should be part of the speed herd as they depart the gate. #6 Rocket Man Attack (C. Roman / Childers) holds the third highest last out speed number and two decent workouts. He is another that should be battling on the front end. A son of Forest Attack, he is 50% in the money from four career starts.
