Stakes Saturday by the Bay

 With TB12 officially retired, the main game in town now is racing at fabulous Tampa Bay Downs. On this Stakes Saturday we look in on the gals as they hit the Turf in the grade three Endeavour Stakes.

A reduced field of nine talented gals will hit the grass in this annual affair.

There is plenty of speed in this Turf route to make for a swift pace. Speed figs are fairly close with three hitting the triple digit range. Top jockey's and trainers will battle it out for the 175k purse pie. Half the field has traveled the Tampa Bay course. It should be an exciting event.

#4 Stunning Princess (P. Morales / Gargan) is yet another coming up from Gulfstream Park. This lady should track the pace very closely and strike in the stretch. She relishes the surface and distance. A daughter of Cairo Prince, she is 75% in the money from eight career starts.

#1 Nantucket Red (O. Hernandez / Wright) has already won two in a row at Tampa, interestingly over both surfaces. She is another that will race close to pace. This daughter of Get Stormy, is 51% in the money from thirty-three career starts.
