 We look in on great racing up in the province of Alberta for the grade three Canadian Derby.

Century Mile Race 10 {Canadian Derby~G3~1 1/4 mile~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A strong field of twelve will go to the gate in this important race.

This field is well prepped as all will stretch out to this classic distance. Speed numbers are fairly close. There should be a strong pace as most will be jostling in the forwardly placed pack. It should be the best race on a fine Century Mile card filled with wagering opportunities.

#2 Red Knobs (Carreno / Diodoro) could go off as the favorite with the highest (tie) last out speed number and three solid workouts. He should track the pace closely. This colt will try the Century Mile track for the first time. A son of Union Rags, he is 63% in the money from eleven career starts.

#12 Regal Riot (E. Hernandez / R. Anderson) should be part of the forwardly placed crowd. He comes in with the third highest last out speed number and three fierce workouts. A son of  Jersey Town, he is 100% in the money from six career starts.
