Stakes Saturday on the Turf at Churchill

 We go to the Turf on this Stakes Saturday, taking in a Grade three for pure horse racing enjoyment.

A modest field of nine will hit the green in this annual event.

This will field should have plenty of speed to produce a swift pace. Speed numbers are fairly close creating a competitive race. Five have raced over the Churchill course. All, but one have competed at this distance. It should be a fantastic race on a nice Fall day.

#1 Emmanuel (L. Saez / Maker) has hit the board in all three of his starts at this distance. He holds the third highest last out speed number at a longer route and four superb workouts. This horse should track the pace closely. A son of More Than Ready, he is 50% in the money from eighteen starts.
