 It's Tavers Day on this Stakes Saturday. With a field of only five, we will look at another fantastic race on this exceptional card.

A reduced field of ten will go to the gate in this annual graded event.

There is a plethora of speed to churn a sizzling pace. Speed numbers are fairly close. Two millionaires make an appearance seeking to pad their winnings. Only three will be making their first start over the Saratoga track. Two will try this distance for the first time. It should be one of the best and most excitng races on the card.

#4 Book'em Danno (P. Lopez / D. Ryan) is the deserved favorite with the highest last out speed number and two strong workouts. This guy loves the dirt, distance, and track. He will be pursuing his third win in a row. Look for him to track the pace and strike in the stretch. A son of Bucchero, he is 86% in the money from fifteen starts.

#5 Extra Anejo (Curtis / Asmussen) should track the pace closely with some decent last out efforts and four aggressive workouts. This will be his first start over the Saratoga track. A stellar record of three wins from four starts at this distance adds to his cause. A son of Into Mischief, he is 63% in the money from eleven starts.

#7 Mullikin (Prat / Brisset) could be part of the speed crew on or near the front-end. He holds the fourth highest last out speed number and three sharp peaking workouts. This guy also loves the dirt, distance, and track. A son of Violence, he is 85% in the money from fourteen starts.

#1 Most Wanted (Geroux / B. Cox) will be trying Saratoga for the first time. He relishes the dirt and distance. This colt is cutting back from a mile distance and has cobbled together four power workouts. He is another that will be forwardly placed. A son of Candy Ride [ARG], he is 100% in the money from eight starts.

#8 Scotland (Alvarado / W. Mott) has been working in earnest on a three-race progression and has put in three speedy peaking workouts. This guy does well on the dirt, at the distance, and over the track. He should be tracking the pace closely and spring into the stretch. A son of Good Magic, he is 71% in the money from fourteen starts.
