An Evening Superfecta Sunday

 Another Derby up in Washington state for our Superfecta Sunday.

Emerald Downs Race 11 {Muckleshoot Derby~1 1/16 mile~3 year-old~Stakes}

An interesting field of ten will go to the gate in this annual contest.

Only one has gone this distance. Six will stretch out from a six-furlong sprint and three will stretch out from a mile route. All have competed over the Emerald Downs track. There is plenty of speed to create a hot pace. Speed numbers are fairly close. It should be a fantastic after dinner race to enjoy.

#7 Nightcap Recap (Orozco / Cooper) will be making his third start in the form cycle with three sharp stamina strengthening workouts. He will stretch out from six furlongs. This gelding should race near the front-end. He holds the highest last out speed number. A son of Conveyance, he is 100% in the money from two starts.

#1 Robin Racer (F. Alvarado / Wenzel) is the deserved favorite with the second highest last out speed number and one sharp workout. This guy is the only one in the field to have gone this distance. Look for him to be in the tracker pack and strike in the stretch. A son of Connect, he is 72% in the money from seven starts.

#8 Chase (Amador / Henson) will stretch out with the third highest last out speed number and one sound workout. He has repeated this speed number in his last two starts. This guy will show speed as he stretches out from a mile route. A son of Pop Artist, he is 83% in the money from six starts.

#3 Ole's Surprise (Krigger / Cloutier) will also stretch out from a mile with a good last out speed number and two hearty workouts. He should track the pace closely. This gelding enjoys the dirt and the track. A son of Ralis, he is 60% in the money from five starts.

#5 Count Dalia (Alex Cruz / Leaney) will be stretching out from six furlongs with the fourth highest last out speed number and one dynamite workout. He will be part of the speed scene. #6 Senor Tequila's (A. Castellanos / Rosales) comes to the race with the highest overall speed number. He hit the board with a good speed fig in his last. This lad is another that will track the pace closely. A son of Misremembered, he is 33% in the money from fifteen starts.
