Superfecta Sunday at Sunland

 On this Superfecta Sunday we look in on a fantastic stakes race for New Mexico bred fillies.

A reduced field of nine will go to the gate in this great stakes race for New Mexico fillies.

There is plenty of speed to make this one scorching fast. Speed figures are very close making it super competitive. Only one of these gals have raced over the Sunland track. It should be a terrific race.

#3 Bella Dona (Wade / Buechler) is the deserved favorite with the highest speed number at the distance and two strong workouts. She should be part of the speed contingent on the front end. A Little Evening Stakes Action

 Off we go for the Tapeta down at Turfway for a little stakes action.

Turfway Park Race 6 {Turfway Prevue Stakes~6 1/2 furlongs~3 year-old~Stakes}

A reduced field of eight will go to the gate in this competitive stakes contest.

There is plenty of speed to put these fellas on a real tear. Speed numbers are fairly close. Three have never raced over synthetic, but might have the pedigree to get over it nicely. It should be a very nice race.

#2 Nobals (Corrales / Rivelli) should be the deserved favorite with the highest last out speed number and two hearty workouts. This guy is 100% in the money from three starts over the surface. Look for him to track the pace very closely ready to strike in the stretch. A son of Noble Mission [GB], he is 60% in the money from five career starts.

Superfecta Sunday in Kentucky

 On this Superfecta Sunday we go to that great little track in Kentucky, Turfway Park.

Turfway Park Race 7 {1 1/16 mile~Tapeta~3 year-old Up~Allowance Optional Claiming}

A flush field of twelve will hit the synth in this penultimate race on today's card.

There is sufficient speed and forwardly placed types to warrant an honest pace. Speed figs are very close among this group. Only three will attempt the synthetic for the first time. It should be a fantastic race to wager and watch.

#4 Tiesto (C. Landeros / J. Carroll) comes in off a longer route up at Woodbine. He holds the highest last out speed number and one diligent workout, Look for him to amongst the tracking herd. This lad thrives at this distance. A son of Tiznow, he is 57% in the money from seven career starts.

#3 Bless the Kitten (A. Jimenez / Grubbs) comes in off a longer route at Churchill Downs, however he is 100% in the money over the synthetic from six starts. #10 Fly Nightly (Emigh / Vandenberg) comes out of a Turf race up at Hawthorne Race Course finishing third there. This gelding holds the highest speed number at the distance and over the synthetic, albeit Polytrack. Look for him to be close to the pace. A son of The Factor, he is 65% in the money from twenty-three career starts.

#1 Prince Maior (Machado / Lobo) comes in out of a Turf race at Mountaineer where he was victorious. He has the tactical speed to fit the pace that develops. He has hit the board in his only attempt over this surface at Turfway. A son of Data Link, he is 66% in the money from nine career starts.

LA Champions Day in the Big Easy

 Another great Saturday filled with competitive stakes races around the country. We look in on the Louisiana breds down in the Big Easy.

Fair Grounds Race Course Race 11 {LA Champions DayTURF Stakes~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Stakes}

A reduced field of eleven will go the the grass in this annual event.

This competitive field will have enough speed to produce an honest pace on the Fair Grounds Turf course. Speed numbers are fairly close. All, but two have gone this distance. Same for traveling over the Fair Grounds course. It should be a great race.

#3 Carleas Dream (R. Gutierrez / Jacks) has already notched three wins at this distance from four tries. This lad shows the highest last out speed number and one bullet workout. This guy should track the pace closely and get first jump on the leaders. A gelded son of Lea, he is 72% in the money from eighteen career starts.

Stakes Saturday down in NOLA

 A good Stakes Saturday to you all. Today we look in on a great stakes race down in the "Big Easy".

Fair Grounds Race Course Race 8 {Pan Zareta Stakes~5 1/2 Furlongs~TURF~3 year-old~Fillies/Mares}

A talented field of eleven will go to the green in this annual affair.

This race has a plethora of speed which could produce intriguing results. Speed figs are fairly close among many of these gals. Only five have covered the Fair Grounds course. All but two have gone this short Turf distance. It should be a very excellent race to wager and watch.

#10 Elle's Town (C. Hernandez / Broberg) comes in from Remington Park with the highest last out speed number and one efficient workout. She has the tactical speed to see how the pace develops and react accordingly. She loves the surface, distance, and Fair Grounds course. A Meat and Potatoes Superfecta Sunday

 We look in on a route race in a meat and potato town for our Superfecta Sunday.

Hawthorne Race Course {1 1/16 mile~3 year-old Up~Claiming}

A field of eight will go to the gate in this low level claiming race in the Chicagoland area.

Past Performances used:  Equibase.

There is sufficient speed to produce a swift pace. Speed numbers for most are very close making it competitive. It is the last on the card which usually produces interesting results. All but one have competed at this route distance. It should be a good race.

#4 Super Silver (Santiago / Becker) is the one to beat with the second highest last out speed number. He loves the Hawthorne track and should be part of the pace scenario. A son of Super Saver, he is 66% in the money from twenty-one career starts.
