On this mellow Friday we take a look at a dirt sprint at Oaklawn.

A good group of eight lightly raced gals will go to the gate in this Friday feature.  We have some speedsters, pressers and trackers which should make it a nicely competitive race.

#1 Honey Bunch (Berry / Petalina) will be the heavily bet favorite with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two decent workouts.  She should win, but there will be no wagering value here.

#7 Kit Carson (M. Baze / Whiting) may take a nice step up with the third highest last out speed number and two blazing workouts.  She will be well positioned to strike for a share of the purse.

#6 She's A Pioneer (Court / Fires) will be the surprise of the crew with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a three race progression, and two top notch workouts.  She looks like she is prepped to step up today.

Santa Anita R5.  Our first pick, Dubai You X Y Z, won (1st) for show money of $3.20.  Our second pick, Bogie [IRE], finished 2nd for show money of $2.60.  Our third pick, Universal Peace, finished 5th.  Superfecta went 8-7-5-4.
