A Great Stakes Saturday

A number of fantastic stakes races unfold today all across the USA.  Today we look in on the fillies at Santa Anita in a great little grade one stakes race.

Santa Anita Race 9 {Las Virgenes~G1~1 mile~3 year old~fillies~Stakes}
An equally matched group of eight fillies will make their way to the gate.  Any one of these gals are capable of the victory.  Lot's of speed may allow a tracker or closer to catch the speedsters.

#5 Eden's Moon (M. Garcia / Baffert) will be forwardly placed looking for a way into the winners circle with the third highest last out speed number,  a two race progression, and four awesome workouts that include three bullets.
$2 WIN / $3 SHOW.

#4 Killer Graces (Talamo / Hollendorfer) will be one of many challengers with the fourth highest last out speed number coming off a longer route and four superb workouts.  She could benefit from a torrid pace with a strong pressing/tracking running style.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#7 Reneesgotzip (Nakatani / Miller) will be taking her speediness to a route, but is well prepped to do so.  She holds the highest last out speed number, a two race progression in a two race career, and five spectacular, peaking workouts.  She could steal this one on the front end.

#3 Willa B Awesome (Pedroza / Solis) looks ready to run a great race with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three robust workouts.  This filly could tuck in behind the leader and coast to a nice slice of the purse pie.
