Horse Racing Weekend begins at Laurel

We start off our Horse racing weekend with a nice route on Maryland soil.

Laurel Park Race 6 {1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up~Claiming}
A nice group of eight will go to the gate in this longer route race. There are a couple of speedsters that should keep the pace honest.  The speed numbers are relatively close making this a competitive event.

#5 Minor Crisis (Conner / Robb) may have the edge with the fourth highest last out speed number and a two race progression. He will be stretching out to this distance for the first time. This lad is 100% in the money over the Laurel course from three starts. He should be part of the closing contingent.
$2 SHOW.

#4 I'm Da Big Man (Rocco / Vukelic) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one stout workout. He has gone this distance over the Turf. A closing kick should be expected from this fella.

#1 Tafawuk (Toledo / Saville) should contend with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two superb workouts. He is another closer that should battle bravely in the stretch. This guy has raced overseas to start off his career.

#3 Double Whammy (Russell / Jacobson) should be prominent with the third highest last out speed number. He is coming down from Aqueduct for this foray on Maryland dirt. This guy might have the highest class of the group.

10 CENT Superfecta
Remember, despite the fact that Laurel Park offers a 10 CENT Superfecta, one has to cobble a minimum wager of $1.00.

#5 Minor Crisis, #4 I'm Da Big Man, #1 Tafawuk  /  #5, #4, #1  /  #5, #4, #1  /  #3 Double Whammy, #8 Two Punch Two.

Last Superfecta Sunday (12/7) Results
Gulfstream Park R9.  Adventura Handicap.  We scuttled our 10 CENT Superfecta box effort due to the scratch of our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Montana Cowboy.
Bankroll remains the same at $10.29.
