Superfecta Sunday in Florida

We conclude out horse racing weekend with a little Turf contest for the fillies in Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 8 {7 1/2 furlongs~Turf~2 year old~Fillies~Maiden Special Weight}
A great crop of twelve will saunter onto the green in this feature race.  There is enough speed to keep a swift pace.  There are also three First Time Starters well prepped for their first try over the grass. It should be a contentious, yet exciting contest.  Our task will be to stitch together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#5 Resilient One (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) should be the deserved favorite with the highest speed number at a route and two robust workouts. She is 100% in the money in her two starts. This could be her breakthrough race.

#10 Royal Parisian [GB] (Castellano / C. Brown) is a first time starter that should do well given her connections strong record and her superb workout tab of four works. She is the daughter of Royal Applause [GB]. This gal is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Lady Mayfair (Santiago / Morales) should challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and one solid workout. She should be tracking the pace closely ready to spring into the stretch.

#12 Sacred Luna (Lezcano / Clement) is another first time starter seeking to run well with four excellent workouts in the last thirty days. Her connections are strong in all the important categories (2 yo, Turf, and MSW) so she has to be considered.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#5 Resilient One  +  #10 Royal Parisian [GB]  +  #4 Lady Mayfair  +  #12 Sacred Luna.

Stakes Saturday Results
Gulfstream Park R8.  Tropical Park Derby.  Our first pick, Smooth Daddy, finished 3rd for show money of $3.40.  Our second pick, Daddy's Kid, finished 5th.
Superfecta went 1-7-9-12.
Bankroll loses some change, dipping to $6.59.
