Holy Bull, It's Stakes Saturday

Yes. On a Saturday of three Kentucky Derby preps we look in on the biggest one of the day down in beautiful South Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 12 {Holy Bull~G2~1 1/16 mile~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A reduced field of nine will enter the gate in this annual Derby prep. There is enough speed to maintain an honest pace. Speed numbers are very close making it super competitive. All but one have been nominated to the Triple Crown. It should be a tremendously exciting race on a Stakes Saturday full of great races.

#4 Audible (Castellano / Pletcher) might have the edge as he stretches out to this distance with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three superb workouts. He will be embarking on his third win in a row. A son of Into Mischief, he should be relatively close to the pace and spring into the stretch.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#1 Enticed (Rosario / McLaughlin) should challenge with the third highest (3-way tie) last out speed number and four hearty peaking workouts. He has already notched a win at this distance as well as hitting the board in all three of his career starts. A son of Medaglia d'Oro, he should show a tracking strategy and strike in the stretch.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#8 Pony Up (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two solid workouts. He is another that will be stretching out to this distance. A son of Aikenite, he should track and close mightily.
$1 SHOW.

#2 Free Drop Billy (L. Saez / Romans) should also find himself in contention with a couple of o.k. last out speed numbers and four strong workouts. Although he ran a clunker in his last, he is 80% in the money from five career starts. A son of Union Rags, he will be tracking and closing with vigor.
