Superfecta Sunday in Arkansas

On this Superfecta Sunday we look in on racing down in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Oaklawn Park Race 10 {6 Furlongs~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares~Allowance}

An interesting field of twelve will go to the gate in this Allowance feature, the last on the card. There is plenty of speed as you would expect in a sprint distance. Speed numbers are very close. Three of these gals are coming off layoffs competing fresh. Our task is to weave together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket. It should be a fine race to cap off our horse racing weekend.

#8 Shilah Baby (T. Baze / Divito) comes off a modest layoff showing the second highest last out speed number and four powerful workouts. This lass should be part of the pace scenario. She loves the distance and the track. A daughter of Graydar, she is 60% in the money from ten career starts. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#5 Inthemidstofbiz (Cruz / Contreras) could go off as the favorite with the highest last out speed number and one sound workout. This gal should be traveling close to the pace seeking to strike in the stretch. She relishes the distance and the track. A daughter of Fed Biz, she is 50% in the money from eight career starts.

#4 Between the Hedges (Talamo / Amoss) should contend with the third highest (tie) last out speed number. She is 100% in the money at this distance from three starts. This gal has the tactical speed to compete with the rest. A daughter of Union Rags, she looks to move forward on the surface and distance.

#10 Shocking Fast (Santana / Asmussen) should be in the mix with a solid speed number at the distance and over the track. She should be forwardly placed seeking good position for the quickening in the stretch. A daughter of Distorted Humor, she is coming off a route and sporting a 50% in the money record from four career starts.
