Superfecta Sunday in the Lincoln National Forest

Yes! We look in on a fantastic stakes race for New Mexico bred ladies in the midst of the Lincoln National Forest. It should be a fine Superfecta Sunday.

Ruidoso Downs Race 8 {Lincoln Handicap~6 Furlongs~3 year-old Up~Fillies and Mares~NM~Stakes}

We can look forward to a nice full field of twelve in this annual affair. Much of the speed should be coming from the outside posts. Speed numbers are very close for this group. Only two have never raced at Ruidoso. Most come in fresh off modest layoffs. It should be a thrilling sprint. Our task is to lasso a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket.

#8 Waltzing Attila (Negron / Summers) might be the one to beat coming off a two win streak out of Zia Park. She holds the second highest (tie) last out speed number and three super strong workouts. This gal also holds the second highest speed number at the distance. A daughter of Atilla's Strom, she should be part of the pace scenario. She is 70% in the money from twenty-three career starts. We give her the nod as our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Orogrande (L. Fuentes / Burton) will give chase coming off a modest layoff with three decent last out speed numbers. She holds the third highest speed number at the distance. This 5 year-old mare enters with three robust workouts. A daughter of Quinton's Gold, she is 60% in the money from twenty-five career starts. Strong connections enhance her chances.

#10 I'm a Dancing Who (Sterling / Summers) should challenge with the highest last out speed number and four superb workouts. She should fire fresh off a modest layoff. This gal also holds the highest speed number at the distance. A daughter of Indian Firewater, she is 49% in the money from twenty-nine career starts. She should be racing close to the pace.

#9 Flight Song (A. Juarez / Fincher) should contend with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and three hearty workouts. This gal loves the distance and the Ruidoso track. Look for her to track the pace and run into a speedy pace. Another daughter of Attila's Storm. she is 62% in the money from thirteen career starts.
