Superfecta Sunday at Santa Anita

 A we look toward the Breeder's Cup Championships later this week, we take in the last race of today's Santa Anita card.

Santa Anita Park Race 10 {6 1/2 furlongs~ downhill TURF~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares Allowance Optional Claiming}

A good group of eleven will take flight on the Santa Anita hillside course to end the Fall meet.

This is a very fine race to cap off the card. It comes a little light on speed though there are a number of fowardly placed types to carry the pace. Speed figs are fairly close. Only four have covered the downhill course. Eight have competed at this distance. All but one have competed over a Turf surface. It should be a great race to handicap and wager.

#6 Royal Charter [GB] (Ayuso / Powell) drops in from a slightly more competitive race at Del Mar and cuts back from a mile distance. She should track the pace closely. This gal has raced downhill a couple of times hitting the board in one of them. She holds the second highest last out speed number and four strong workouts. A daughter of Expert Eye [GB], he is 37% in the money from sixteen starts.

#9 The Wild Grazer [IRE] (Berrios / Mullins) loves the TURF, distance, and downhill course holding the highest speed at both. She should be part of the tracker pack in the middle of the field. This gal holds a couple of solid workouts. A daughter of Gustav Klimt, he is 50% in the money from twelve starts.

#2 Tequilaandtherapy (Fresu / O'Neill) is another that drops in class and distance. She holds the highest last out speed number and four strengthening workouts. This lady should also track the pace closely. She hit the board in his only start on the downhill course. A daughter of Mrazek, he is 54% in the money from eleven starts.

#3 Yellow Sun Dress (JJ Hernandez / Glatt) is the morning line favorite as she tries the downhill course distance for the first time. This girl is yet another that will track the pace closely. She does love the Turf. A daughter of Karakontie [JPN], he is 75% in the money from eight starts.

#4 Gypsy Woman [IRE] (Kimura / Yakteen) holds the highest last out speed number at a route and two sound peaking workouts. She should be forwardly placed. This gal has a nice speed fig progression as she tries this distance for the first time. A daughter of Cotal Glory [IRE], she is 53% in the money from thirteen starts.

#7 Skatingthroughlife (A Lezcano / Glatt) has doubled up her last two speed figs. Look for her to track the pace closely. This gal looks to improve with two sturdy workouts. A daughter of Race Day, holds a 25% win rate from four starts.
