Back to Gulfstream Park

We return to Gulfstream Park for the start of the horse racing weekend.

Gulfstream Park Race 8 {6 Furlongs~3 year old~fillies~Allowance}
Facinating little race with ten little fillies going to the gate.  Conditions should have included the qualification that a horse may not have raced at the distance of six furlongs as only two in her have.  A very good field nonetheless.  Wild About Sonny (Trujillo / Breen) has a very slight edge with the highest last out speed number at her only race and four excellent, peaking workouts.  Tap For Luck (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) will be the favorite and will challenge mightily coming off a long route with four solid workouts.  Expo Gold (Leparoux / Kenneally) looks ready to run a big race with the second highest last out speed number in her only race and three robust, peaking workouts.  Because I Like It (Leyva / Culyas) will rise to the occassion with an o.k. last out speed number and three strong workouts.  Let's play beautiful Gulfstream Park.
