Hooray For Hot Springs

With many of the Kentucky Derby aspirants coming through Oaklawn Park, let's get some handicapping in there before some of the big races begin in the weeks ahead.  Today we will tune up with a nice little sprint allowance race.

Oaklawn Park {6 furlongs~4 year old Up~Allowance}
A good field of ten will make the start of this sprint.  Macjoey (Gryder / Asmussen) appears to have the edge with the highest (tie) speed number at the distance and four sensational, peaking workouts.  Delong Road (Thompson / Lukas) will challenge also holding the highest speed number at the distance, a four race progression, and one good workout.  Seton Hall (Court / W. Fires) will be in the hunt with the fourth highest last out speed number coming off a route, a two race progression, and three robust workouts.  Crystal Moment (Borel / Borel) can be expected to make a good run at these with the second highest last out speed number which happened to be a victory at this distance.  Ask Eddy (Felix / Mason) could be the surprise with a decent last out speed number, a two race progression, and one endurance workout.  Let's play Oaklawn Park.

$2 SHOW:  #8 Macjoey.
$2 SHOW:  #6 Delong Road.
